Anza 250: A Documentary Film Premieres in San Francisco

Wow, what a night! Over 500 tickets sold for the world premiere of our documentary, Anza 250: A Documentary Film, in San Francisco, CA, on September 17, 2026. It was a full house at the beautiful historic Presidio Theatre, and we got a standing ovation at the end.

We were enchanted, feeling the audience travel along on Luis Valle's incredible journey recreating the 1,600-mile Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. And we loved hearing from the guests at the after-party.

The Basque Legacy in the Southwest Presentation in Tubac

What an amazing evening we had presenting alongside the amazing Arielle of Civil Wines!

Last month, Alex and Arielle hosted a second wine dinner at the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa for the southern Arizona community, celebrating our shared love for history, culture, and food, while discussing the influence of the Basque legacy in the region.

We have exciting news for anyone planning to visit the Basque Country: we are now launching The Basque Borderlands Tour for 2027. Click here for more details and to save your place!
