Departing from Nogales, and based in the capital city of Hermosillo, we will spend two nights - the first and final - taking in the city’s cosmopolitan life. On our second full day, we will head east to uncover the roots of agave culture in northwestern Mexico at its source. The second night will be in Sahuaripa, the land of the Mexican Jaguar, just up the road from Bacanora, where we will stay at an old mill converted into a bed and breakfast.
You’ll get to know the producers, learn about their process at three different vinatas, take part in tastings, enjoy the local gastronomy, and experience the beautiful denomination of the origin region, home of this Sonoran spirit.
Includes transportation with a professional driver, three nights' hotel accommodations, complimentary tastings, all meals (three breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners—alcoholic drinks not included), admissions, a guide, and translation services.
Cancellation Policy - Mexico Tours Overnight tours to Mexico are fully refundable up to ten weeks before the initial tour date. If cancellation occurs between ten and six weeks before the tour’s first day, it is subject to a $250 (per person) administrative fee. There is no refund if cancellation occurs from six weeks to the tour's start date. There’s also the option to transfer the registration to another individual found by the original registrant.
