We are very proud of our friend Luis Valle Cordero for his amazing accomplishment, biking the entire Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, a historical and social stitch that unites the U.S. and Mexico!

Journal of the Southwest Podcast
In case you missed it, Alex was featured in an episode of the University of Arizona’s Southwest Center’s Journal of the Southwest podcast recently. He discussed Borderlandia's work and his broader view of public history. Also, he talked about how perceptions of the borderlands seem to grow more distorted the farther one gets, and how Borderlandia’s work aims to counter this distorting effect of distance and politics.
