As Mexican Golden Poppies make their debut along Arizona’s roadways, we’re rolling into Sonoran spring — in what’s been the warmest winter in recent memory — with some exciting updates to share.

While we didn’t quite land on a millionaire list, we did end up featured in Forbes. We also headlined on Mezcalistas, where journalist Laurel Miller joined us in eastern Sonora and wrote about our Bacanora adventures.

And speaking of Bacanora — we’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration with Tucson’s Agave Heritage Festival this April for our Jaguars & Bacanora route.

This spring also brings meaningful educational exchanges. In March, we’ll host an academic visit to the borderlands with Minnesota’s Carleton College, followed by a cultural exchange in the Río Sonora region with students from Wisconsin’s Bayfield School District.

We’re also turning our attention to the coast of Sonora this year, with three port-focused tours:

• Puerto Peñasco in April

• San Carlos in July

• Kino Bay (announcement coming soon) in October

There has never been a better time to experience Sonora — and most importantly, to meet its extraordinary people. We invite you to join us.

Sincerely,

Alex

P.S. Sonora & Mexico are safe for visitors. Don’t let sensational headlines tell you otherwise!
